SPLAINE ANNOUNCES TEAM FOR SPANISH NATIONS' CUP

HORSE Sport Ireland Team Manager Robert Splaine has announced his team for the FEI Promotional Nations' Cup at Gijon in Spain at the beginning of August.

The team, in alphabetical order, is:
Jessica Kurten; Castle Forbes La Vie Du Fraigneau
Dermott Lennon; Hallmark Elite
Conor Swail; Gold Digger
Billy Twomey; Blue Thunder

Splaine said this evening (Monday): "This is a unique opportunity to see four of our most experienced riders perform at Nations' Cup level with relatively new and very promising horses.

"The FEI Promotional League not only serves as a means for national teams to prove their worth for the Super League, but in this case allows established nations like Ireland to give new combinations a chance to show their potential for selection for our Meydan Series teams in the next season."
