SWAIL AND O' CONNOR IN SPANISH PRIZE MONEY

CONOR Swail and Cian O'Connor maintained their successful run of results at the four-star show in La Coruna, Spain.

Malahide-based Swail was once again in the prize money with Glen Leddy's stallion 'Gold Digger', taking the runner-up spot in the afternoon's two-phase competition, with 29 year-old O'Connor not far behind in fourth with Dermot O'Rourke's talented mare 'Baloufina'.

The class was won by France's Julien Epaillard and 'Commissario'.

Swail placed 'Gold Digger' in ninth in Saturday's La Coruna Grand Prix, and on Friday the stallion gave him a sixth place in the jump-off. 'Baloufina' was second in Saturday's speed competition with O'Connor on board.
