San Patrignano CSI 5* - fever pitch on the web
Just a few short hours until the beginning of the 13th CSI5* Challenge Vincenzo Muccioli and the eyes of the equestrian world are onn trained on the hill where the Community lies. The “fever” is rising not only for the riders and horses present at the show, but also for those following
“virtually” online on the new web site www.csi-sanpatrignano.org, which is being updated in real time as the results start coming in.
Online since last June 19, the Challenge Vincenzo Muccioli web site has seen a boom in the number of visitors in the last week, thanks to international press coverage on the event and the preparation leading up to it.
On June 10th, for example, the average day saw 250 visitors to the site, the next week saw over a thousand. The numbers keep growing as the show nears and over 64% of those on the site are visiting for the first time.
One out of three visitors is logging on in a foreign country, especially Germany, Switzerland and Belgium, thanks to the fact that he site is also available in other languages.
The average “surfer” spends roughly 4 minutes on the site, which in internet terms is quite a lot. The most frequently visited pages are those featuring the riders due to compete and the show schedule.
From today until Sunday, the address www.csi-sanpatrignano.org will be the portal for those who would like to follow the show but could not travel to San Patrignano. All the results, news, photographs and videos will be posted as they happen.
Thanks to sja.it run by Mauro Battistini and Umberto Martuscelli, a literal “whose who” of equitation it will be possibile to follow the show in real time online: starting lists, courses and results, as they happen, with a simple click.
