Sunny Boy K

Sunny Boy K is by the stallion San Juan and out of a Furinos Mare. With 'Sunny', Sean was the Leading Young Rider in the Cork/ Kerry showjumping region of Ireland in both 2006 and 2007. The pair have competed in a number of Guidam Grand Prix (1.35m) and Munster Grand Prix competitions (1.35m) in which they jumped a number of clear rounds.

In 2006 Sean took Sunny to the CSI* Show in Barcelona, Spain. Here they competed in the Medium tour where they were among the ribbons and knocked just one fence throughout the show.

In 2009, Seán prepared 13 year-old Cork rider Oisín Murphy and Sunny for the Irish team trials for the European Children's Championships to be held in Mooselle in Belgium. They were selected for the team but, unfortunately, due to an infection to his foreleg, Sunny would not be able to compete at the Championships. Oisín is a talented rider and will have his day again.
