Seán Walsh Off To A Good Start At Cavan CSI

Seán Walsh got Cavan CSI off to a great start on Wednesday 4th with a win in the 1.00m class on the novice mare Millstreet Touch. 24 horses jumped double-clear but none was faster than Millstreet Touch. The pair also jumped clear in both rounds on Thursday where they settled for a steady performance. The mare then jumped her first 1.10m class in Cavan with a single pole on the ground.

Wednesday also saw Seán jump the 6 year-old Modern Clover in the 1.20m class with just a single time fault, while in Thursday's equivalent they had a clean sheet in the first round, only to knock the second last fence in the jump-off.

On Kimberlite their schooling round in the 1.20m on Wednesday was superb although they did incur a time fault in the second round. Seán was using the class to get the gelding used to the Cavan indoor arena. The pair then jumped a double-clear in Thursday's 1.30m in preparation for the international 1.40/1.50 class tomorrow (Friday).
