Today was a busy day in the yard. The yard is now full which is very good news. On Saturday we went to Maryville Stables to jump in the Autumn league. Siobhan brought her horse for both Siobhan's and the horse's first ever show. The mare delt very well with the occasion as did Siobhan giving a very professional ride and I think both horse and rider learned a lot from it. I competed three horses, I rode Liz O' Sullivan's La Dolce Vita in the metre class. I have been training Liz all year and she has now started working with me at home in the yard. "Dolce" had a double clear round which I was pleased with. Kimberlite and Modern Clover had clear rounds in the 1.20m and Modern Clover had 4 faults in the 1.30m which was pleasing. This morning myself and Liz worked with the four 3yr old horses on the yard,I am now sitting up on three of these and making progress with the Guidam stallion even though he is still not very happy with me trying to get up on him but I'm sure with time he'll be ok. A new four year old arrived in the yard yesterday so I rode her for the first time today. She is a chesnut mare by Aldatus Z. The rest of the day was spent riding the older horses and doing the normal daily jobs.
