PARA EQUESTRIAN DRESSAGE - IRELAND FINISHES NINTH

IRELAND'S European Para Equestrian dressage team finished in overall ninth place after three days of competition at the FEI European and Open Para-Equestrian Championships in Kristiansand, Norway this evening (Sunday).

 

Britain won the championships on a score of 218.715 per cent, with Germany in silver medal position with 217.118 per cent, and the Netherlands taking bronze on 204.456.

 

Ireland's finishing score of the 13 nations competing was 191.886 per cent. Breda Bernie and 'Tula' had an overall championship score of 61.703 per cent, with Helen Kearney and 'Boris-Zeig' on 64.482 per cent, Eilish Byrne and 'Youri' on 65.325 per cent, and Kathryn Wheelock with 'Indi' on 62.079 per cent.
