Dublin Horse Show
Today was the second and last qualifier for the 8 year old and over championship with Kimberlite. Class started at half 8 so I was up at 6 o clock to feed. I then walked the course which was in the main arena. Most of the fences were standing at 1.45m and some were even bigger. Due to Cian O' Connors withdrawal I was first to go in the class so I had the disadvantage of not being able to watch any rider jump the course. Cantering into the main arena was an amazing feeling. I finished up with 12 faults but was happy with round and the way the horse performed. There was only 5 clears which proved how tough the track really was. In the afternoon I watched the nations cup and was disappointed not to see Ireland claim the Aga Khan trophy. As I did not qualify I am finished competing but overall I'm very happy with the week.
