Walsh makes impressive International GP Debut
Seán Walsh and Kimberlite took part in their first International 1.50m Grand Prix at Cavan CSI* this week. They jumped impressively to come home with just the second part of the large double on the floor to finish on 4 faults. They competed in the three major classes in Cavan and incurred just 4 faults in each - a more than acceptable result for their first international show.

Dejá Vu For Walsh in 1.45/1.50m Class at Cavan CSI*
Seán Walsh and KImberlite jumped another lovely round at Cava CSI8 last night but had just the penultimate fence down. it was s close once again for the pair who had knocked the last fence in the previous night's main class. " The track was strong but I believed Kimberlite could handle it. We were so unlucky not to have gone clear, but he was a star again tonight. Together we have made a lot of progress this season. I will enter him for the 1.50m Grand Prix tomorrow night and make a decision about it when I see the course.
4 Faults for Kimberlite in Cavan 1.40/1.45m International Class
Seán Walsh and KImberlite jumped a fabulous round in their first 1.40/1.45m CSI class at Cavan tonight. They had the last fence, an oxer, down. Seán admitted that the horse jumped brilliantly but he himself did not sit up in time for the five strides to the last oxer.
"The horse has come on so much this season. His stride has lengthened. We made a lot of ground coming out of the penultimate double and I was on top of the final oxer before I knew it. I am thrilled with the horse but disappointed with knocking the last."
